Notes on the Summer 2009 Marked Issue

Thank you to our contributors for their intriguing responses to our call for work that in some way addresses the theme of "marked"... Also, a big thanks to Missy Frattini for her lovely artwork, which always melds well with the poetry and prose in blossombones.

Please note that we are closed to submissions until February 2010. Our winter issue will be a digital chapbook and is set to appear in January. Our next reading period begins on Febrary 1st and is open to all themes and topics. Check here for our submission guidelines.

We'd also like to congratulate blossombones contributors Amy Fetzer Larakers and Wayne Shannon for their inclusion in Sundress Publications Best of the Net Anthology for 2008! We're delighted to see their work recognized as an example of excellence in online literature.
